Love Yourself: Share Your Talent

Been having a good time sharing my talent and making new things with my business skills. Today’s stone is Rhodonite which, you guessed it, is sharing of talent, self-love, and self-acceptance. Those last two things self-love and self-acceptance seem to go hand in hand, and if you are feeling good about yourself–by golly–you’re more apt to share your talents.

Rhodonite is a beautiful pink with black lines in it. Some stones have mostly pink, others are nicely striped with black.

Selenite: Higher Self

selenite-chihuahua_mexicoselenite

Selenite serves as a link to our higher self. It has the energy centers from our crown all the way to the 12th Chakra! From Naisha Ahsian’s Crystal Ally Book the affirmation that goes with Selenite is “I am a reflection on Earth of the Divine Spirit in Heaven.”

For me that helps slow me down to see that instead of just a task-doer I am actually a person of light. Living is amazing and the tasks that I do can be done with a higher purpose in mind. Am what I am doing today, helpful to me and others? Also the question of “Am I honoring my higher self?” comes to mind. Finally, “Am I treating myself with the dignity that I deserve as a being of light?”

When I treat myself well, I tend to treat others well. Mindfulness… my higher self acknowledges your higher self.

Seraphinite Affirmation: I allow love light healing to fill my body.

The reason we are here is to love. Seraphinite has the appearance of feathers in its green stone. It is known for healing via love light. Some steps for this might be:

  1. Take three deep breaths.
  2. Say thank you for where you are today.
  3. Picture a healing light surrounding your body.
  4. Feel the love.
  5. Say thank you three times.

Feel free to post your favorite method to slow down and feel the love light.

Guitar Strums

Today I get a guitar lesson. I plan to teach some teens how to strum a guitar so I’m improving my skills. Give, get, ebb & flow.

Surprisingly it’s getting me to play drums more too just knowing my guitar playing is coming into fruition.  I’m finding around lunch time is a good time to hit the drums. Love the different beats.

As far a a gem for today, I will share a flower with some gem earrings. Consider the flower to be the guitar and the earrings the drum set.

Today’s gem was again Malachite so I said to myself “Wow, again, really?” Maybe I will have to shuffle the cards (yes, I’m using a deck of cards) shuffle them like Jim suggested. Jim’s a friend who seems really into shuffling.

So I looked over my recent Facebook posts and there are plenty of cool Malachite pictures, the affirmation for Malachite is “I go with the flow”. It means instead of just your ego leading the way, you tune into the universal energy and let that guide your day.

I do have a photo of malachite to post… It is my son, Alex, steering a sailboat last month. He was suddenly open to wearing Artist Gem bracelets and went home with four of them. In this photo he is wearing a Malachite, Obsidian one, and he is being powered by the flow of the wind!

Tigers Eye Affirmation: I am balanced.

Tigers Eye has a beautiful layered look of vibrant yellow/gold, browns, and black. It’s a suitable color combination for the affirmation “I am balanced”.

To me balancing is about routine that allows for a variety of activities throughout the day: physical, spiritual, work, and joyful/relaxing time. I find that if I get certain activities done in the morning then the rest of my day is balanced. I have the privilege of time to parse my day that way.

However, I am still looking for a good time to play drums… it’s loud enough to annoy others in the house and I have not included it in my morning routine yet. Any advice is welcome!
